Viva Wyndham Resorts

July 31, 2020

The resort located in the Riviera Maya has been the first to resume operations on the 1st. of July. Located on the shore of the Caribbean Sea, it is once again the starting point to experience Mexico in its entirety: nature, culture and fun.

Located in Playacar, three kilometers from Playa del Carmen, it has reopened with a revamped all-inclusive format. Previously we had a main buffet restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, a snack bar and 4 a la carte restaurants available for dinner. Now, however, you can enjoy 3 open restaurants during breakfast, lunch and dinner with an à la carte menu. Upon reaching an occupancy equivalent to 100 rooms, the buffet restaurant will also reopen, which will operate under the assisted buffet scheme.

We at  Viva Wyndham Maya have carefully taken care of every detail in order to comply with the new regulations issued by Mexican authorities, in line with international guidelines concerning accommodations, catering and activities. The new protocols related to the disinfection of guest rooms have been implemented for every room category.

The disco is currently closed, meanwhile the kids’ club, gym, archery, trapeze, and all water sports remain open.

The use of face masks is compulsory upon checking-in and checking-out of the hotel.  Their use in common areas will depend on the provisions outlined by the Mexican authorities, which are constantly updated.

Viva Wyndham Maya is unrivalled for living new experiences: the archaeological areas of Cobá, Tulum and Chichén Itzá, X-Caret, Xel-Há natural parks and the Sian Ka’An Biosphere Reserve, Islas Mujeres, Contoy and Cozumel. And, let’s not forget about the Aktun Chen caves, shops and appetizers along Fifth Avenue in Playa del Carmen, where you will enjoy Cancun’s nightlife.
