THE NEED OF WELLNESS: the deepest relaxation at 2 Viva Spas

We have just completed the new restyling of the Viva Wyndham Maya Spa.

We decided to transform the wellness center, revamping its treatment options and general decor. We switched from the international Renova protocols to the Mexican guidelines. Necui –from the Nahuati Aztec language means- great wave.  The spa is ready to welcome you with a relaxing offer.

The treatments, all boasting Mayan names, use natural ingredients and are inspired by ancient techniques. The 80-minute Tass Ha ‘massage consists of a combination of massages, whose variants stimulate the circulatory and nervous systems, with a final toning effect.

T’ubul K’iin is the evocative name of a treatment for couples; it means sunset and coincides with the time when you can enjoy magnificent sunsets, overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

The menu ranges from hot stones to chocolate (the Mayans were the first in the world to cultivate the cacao plant) to hemp. Cannabi is the exclusive vegan treatment for face and body, with exfoliation, toning, packing and massage with herbal buffers.

An award-winning Spa offering

The Coconut Whispers Spa, located inside the V Samaná resort, in the Dominican Republic, is wholly dedicated to natural ingredients and ancient techniques.

Conceived with bio architecture, it also offers the Temazcal, a steam dome that purified the body in Mesoamerican times, as well as 4 large round huts, where the absence of edges respects feng shui principles.

We have numerous treatments made of coconut, honey, citrus, mint, river stones, black and red-green tea, tropical fruits, almonds, cucumbers, aloe, camellia and jasmine.

We invite you to explore a special one:

Floating Sleep Therapy – Hammock Therapy

Start with a blend of eucalyptus and natural herbal gel, which will help flush toxins out of your pores. An aroma of incense and medicinal herbs accompanies the soft swing in the hammock. We proceed with an acupressure massage that stimulates the nerve points of the head. The therapy ends with a light shoulder massage performed with the feet, according to a traditional ancient healing medicine technique, which works by stimulating blood flow and muscle relaxation.
