Did you know Dominicus Beach was the first beach in America to obtain the Blue Flag international environmental certification?

It happened many years ago, but more importantly, since then, it has continued to earn this recognition annually. The renewal of the Blue Flag certification is carried out once an International Jury analyzes the necessary quality standards.

We have just received official confirmation that, after evaluations carried out from July 2020 to March 2021, we have been bestowed the Blue Flag once again, which may be proudly fluttered during the 2021-2022 period on the beach of the Viva Wyndham Dominicus Beach and Palace hotels.

Viva Wyndham Dominicus Palace  reopened on October 1, welcoming back its guests with many novelties.

The first change begins with the lobby: we have redesigned it! You will find new colors, new decorations, and linings. We replaced the sofas and transformed the bar.

After checking-in rooms are assigned, right? Well, we have restyled numerous Superior Garden View rooms, one of the five room types available at the resort.

If you have already stayed with us, you will remember the Pueblito, the area near the Lagoon, with handicraft shops and the Dominican restaurant Palito de Coco. Here, on November 20, we inaugurated the new Coffee Shop, because we always love to offer our guests something more, even those who return.

When you head towards the central pool area, you will find it completely renovated, with comfortable sofas. The snack bar next to the pool will surprise you with a new and very cozy look.

The Viva Wyndham Dominicus Palace is a pearl of the town of Bayahibe; It has a private dock from which boats and catamarans sail to the beautiful Saona Island, which is part of the Cotubanamá National Park.
