National Park of the East

The town of Bayahibe, near to Casa de Campo is one of the gateways to the National Park of the East, a natural reserve with virgin beaches and other natural attractions.

In its interior, the park has many caves depicting pre-Columbian pictographs in their inner dwellings, as well as stone carvings left by the Taíno Indians. The overwhelming diversity of pristine corals makes these impeccable coastlines an idyllic setting to dive in. The southeastern border of the park is lined with mangrove swamps and an unprecedented number of bird species.
